It is finally getting closer! The next 7 weeks will fly and we will be setting off for a month of hunting. There is nothing better than getting the dogs on lots of Ruffed Grouse and Woodcock. We are praying the hatch was good–as we are receiving mixed reports. But, I still think it will be better numbers than here, in PA.
We set out the first week of October and will take every dog we have. It is quite an undertaking but completely worth it. Getting everything–and the dogs–ready is the concentration right now. I just can’t wait!.
