Hi all,

Not much exciting today, but I am trying to make an effort to post more often.

I made a trip into town to get dog food and bedding. Linda and the gang at the Feed and Seed store were in good spirits. It was good to get out and see smiling faces. Just about the time I returned, the sun was breaking through the clouds. The brightness and warmth it brought was very welcome!

The Llews enjoyed the sunshine this afternoon as well while I unloaded the truck, filled the feed cans, freshened up the kennels, picked up around the yard, etc. Inside kennels are nice, but I worry the dogs need more sunshine. I can’t wait to build the new kennels and building so they can have indoor/outdoor comfort. There is Maddie helping me unload.

The pigeons came out and gave the dogs something to point and get excited about.

I snapped today’s photos with my cell phone, so they aren’t greatest.

Torri enjoyed time-off from puppies. 🙂

Nash enjoyed time-off from pups as well, and there is Shay and Gitch saying hi.

There is another thing I really hope to do before winter—power-wash that awful deck and paint the outside of house!! It’s probably too late and too cold to do it now. I think I heard it is supposed to be in the 50s this weekend, but I don’t think I’ll be able to get that job done—there are dogs to hunt before the season goes out!

The puppies had a great time today. They are getting to be a handful already—nothing’s safe from their clutches. I am trying to teach them to not chew cords already. 🙂 They are exploring everything and with the milder temperatures this afternoon, and after I finished the outside chores and fed dinner, while cleaning the puppy rooms I opened the doors and many ventured out onto the deck. It was dark out, so I wasn’t able to get pictures. I did catch these cuties napping away in the bathroom, though!

All dogs love that fuzzy rug, although these guys seem to like it better turned over!

That’s all for today. I hope to escape for a few hours tomorrow and run some young dogs.

Have a great night and hug your Llew… and your loved ones… because you can. 🙂
