We are preparing to leave for a 21-day grouse/woodcock hunting trip. It has been a long, hot summer and we are looking forward to this trip. The dogs seem to know something is happening and I think they know we are going hunting! They seem just as excited as we are. How do they know?
Following the advice of some wise friends, a last-minute purchase was a GPS, since I will be running the younger dogs alone, another GPS will be necessary.
All the dogs have been treated for the prevention of ticks. We had a friend just return from hunting in Wisconsin and said the ticks were absolutely awful! We are really hoping the same is not true for where we are going..
