While out and about somewhere in northern Wisconsin yesterday, I felt like the luckiest person in the world when I came across a hen Ruffed Grouse with her brood of 10 crossing the road. It totally made my day, gave me hope, and reminded me why I moved to the Northwoods with my Llews.
