The pups are doing fantastic. They get more curious and bold everyday. With the milder temperatures, they venture outside and go further and stay out longer each time.

They ventured off of the deck and learned all about digging dirt.

They have taken over my kitchen and I let them. After all, the floor is linoleum that I would like to replace someday. They may as well enjoy being in the center of all the action in the house. I put a crate under the table and they are using it on occasion, but prefer to sleep in the doorway or under another table.

They still run into the puppy room to “go” if the door isn’t open and they can’t get outside. I need to move Nashua into the puppy room this week, so that will have to stop. Unless I come up with another plan/area for Nash and her pups… maybe I’ll just move the whelping box into the living room… I’m not sure.

They are little pointing fools–all of them pointing one another, stalking, and pouncing. I dare say that bird dogs are so much like felines that it is more than a bit crazy!
